ABOUT ME
My bachelor’s degree is in chemistry (honors) with a specialization in Biochemistry and my masters is in Biochemistry with a specialization in Molecular Biology. I did my Ph.D. is in Biophysics, molecular biology and genetics from Calcutta University in 1997. I qualified for UGC (University Grants Commission, India) National Eligibility Test (NET) award in 1989 and then the “Senior Research Fellowship” award from CSIR-INDIA in 1993. My first post-doctoral research was at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. My second postdoctoral research was at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Bronx New York.
